Edit group policy on remote computer

Want to open up the MMC of a local Group Policy on a remote machine?

Simply go to Start Run and type:

gpedit.msc /gpcomputer: Computername

    Thank you so much…had been using this really convoluted method involving launching the MMC first that took 10 steps or so. This is way simpler and faster. You've saved me untold hours of click click browse. NICE :)

    Thank you soooo much for this help. I have been trying to implemet WSUS and the group policy from the AD does not work when automatic updates are configured. I scratched my head and could not find a solution to this. So I tested one machine by configuing local group policy. it worked. Therefore I wanted to change the local group policy of each PC by NOT going to each one. And here is exactly where your help was of use. Thanks a ton. Keep up the good work.
